Branch survey
Walked at opening and at closing, not in the quiet of mid-morning.
When we walk it
An opening, a closing, and a period of normal trading — at minimum. A survey conducted once at eleven on a Tuesday describes a branch that only exists at eleven on a Tuesday.
What gets examined
Sightlines from every teller position and from the officer post. Camera placement, focal coverage and blind spots. Duress device placement and reachability from seated positions. Cash movement paths. Vestibule and car park lighting after dark. Approach and exit routes.
We talk to the branch, not just the region
Tellers and branch managers know things that never reach a regional report — the door that sticks, the customer who keeps returning, the light that has been out since spring. Twenty minutes of listening produces most of the useful findings.
What you receive
A written report per branch: findings by zone, recommendations ranked by urgenct and effect, and a clear statement of which recommendations require no spending at all. Usually a third of them do not.
And an honest coverage recommendation
Including, frequently, that a branch does not need a permanent officer — that covering the opening and closing windows and improving the lighting would serve it better. We would rather tell you that than sell forty hours a week.
